Prof. Ehud Weinstein
CEO and co-founder
Pavel co-founded Guardicore after spending twelve years as a Cyber Security expert in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), where he started as a programmer and ended up managing 100 engineers at one of the IDF’s top R&D units. Prior to that, Pavel worked as a Penetration Tester at Comsec. Pavel holds a Bachelor of Science (BsC) degree in Computer Science from the Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo.
CTO and co-founder
Ariel co-founded Guardicore after spending eleven years as a cybersecurity engineer and researcher at the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), where he worked closely with co-founder Pavel Gurvich. In his last position at the IDF, Ariel led a team of 30 engineers and researchers to successfully achieve some of the most challenging and cutting edge technological projects of the Israeli Intelligence Corps. Prior to that, Ariel worked as a software engineer at Intel Corporation. Ariel holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
VP Sales EMEA
Hervé has 30 years of experience in building and leading exceptional enterprise sales operations and strategies, including eight years as VP Sales EMEA of Check Point Software Technologies (NASDAQ: CHKP), the leading internet security company, where he grew revenues from zero to over $300M/year in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Guardicore, Hervé served as VP Sales EMEA & Asia Pacific at CTERA, a leader in the emerging Cloud Storage Gateways market. Hervé holds a Master of Science (MsC) degree in Computer Science from AIX-Marseille University..
Dave brings over 20 years of experience in software and technology marketing, including 15 years focused on information security. He has a proven track record successfully bringing new products to market. He previously served as VP of Global Marketing at NComputing, an innovator in the desktop virtualization market. Prior to NComputing, he held senior marketing positions for several enterprise security companies including Check Point Software Technologies, Symantec, AlgoSec and NetContinuum (acquired by Barracuda Networks).
VP Business Development
Sharon is an accomplished data and network security expert with successful track record combining deep technical hands-on excellence with market vision to incubate new solutions and develop next generation technologies. Sharon was the CTO and co-founder of Publicom (acquired by Comsec), co-founder of Contondo (acquired by Bigtincan) co-founder of EyeOTee Inc., VP Technologies at Net Optics, (acquired by IXIA), VP of Products Strategy at Imperva, Director of security solutions at Check Point, Director of security products at Websense, through the acquisition of Port Authority Technologies. Sharon holds a BSc degree in Computer Science, Mathematics and Geography from Bar Ilan University.
Ori has 17 years of experience in software development. Before joining Guardicore, Ori was a Group Manager at Check Point, where he led the development of numerous products, including Application Control and URL filtering blades. Prior to that, Ori led R&D development at an elite R&D unit in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). Ori holds an MBA and a BSc degree in Operation Research & Computer Science from Tel Aviv University.
VP APAC and Co-Founder
Dror has proven track record leading marketing, business development and sales at successful start-ups and larger corporations. Prior to co-founding Guardicore, Dror was a Marketing Manager at Apple. Dror joined Apple with the acquisition of Anobit Technologies in 2011, where he was VP Marketing and VP Mobile Storage. Dror holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and an MBA degree from Tel Aviv University.

Prof. Ehud Weinstein is an internationally recognized authority in the field of signal processing. A Fellow of the IEEE, he has published over 60 papers in leading scientific journals and holds numerous patents in the fields of signal processing and digital communications. He received several awards and special recognition for his scientific and industrial contributions. A Senior Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Tel-Aviv University, he is also a Research Affiliate at the Research Laboratory of Electronics, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Prof. Weinstein is a co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Parallel Machines, and a co-founder and Chairman of Tensera. Prior to that he was a co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Anobit Technologies, which was acquired by Apple (NASDAQ: APPL) in 2011. Prior to that he was a co-founder, Chairman and CEO of Libit Signal Processing, which was acquired by Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN) in 1999. Prof. Weinstein is an Angel investor to a number of technology startups.
Scott is a General Partner at Battery Ventures, which he joined in 1997. He leads investments in the United States, Israel and Europe. Scott has focused on a variety of interests at Battery, including: venture capital and private equity investments in enterprise infrastructure, materials science, application software, business services, media and financial services. Scott has been named multiple times to the Forbes Midas List, which ranks top venture capitalists from around the world. He graduated with honors from Brandeis University with a BA in International Relations and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies.
SVP of Sales, North America
Nathan is a proven sales leader over 20 years of experience in the information security, data center and networking markets. He has unique track record in driving revenue success and rapid growth with emerging technologies. Nathan was a founding member of the Cisco NAC technology business unit that reached the #1 position in the market with over 40% market share, and was an early sales leader at VCE, now the market leader in the hyper-converged infrastructure market. Prior to Guardicore, Nathan was Director of Sales at Tegile Systems, helping the company to more than double its customer base and drive YoY revenue growth of over 250%. Nathan holds a BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
Yaron brings to Guardicore over 17 years of financial and operations experience in software and technology including the last seven years at website builder Wix.com where he rose from corporate controller to VP finance and VP operations. Prior to Wix, he was corporate controller at ooVoo as well as Arel Communications & Software Ltd., both providers of interactive voice, video, and data communication solutions for consumers and enterprise-wide conferencing. Yaron holds MBA from Bar-Ilan University and a BA in accounting and economics from Tel Aviv University.

Erez joined Greylock Partners in 2005 and in 2006 was a founding partner of Greylock IL, now 83North. He currently focuses on Enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, virtualization, security, storage, and software. For investing activities, please see the 83North site. Previously, Erez held senior executive positions with EMC Corp. in Hopkinton, MA.
VP Human Resources
Ilan brings more then 20 years of global Human Resources experience in the high tech industry that includes building global management teams and organizations, HR strategy planning, executive search, organizational structure optimization and corporate-level change management. Before joining Guardicore, Ilan held various executive HR positions with hyper-growth startup companies (Sisense and Panaya), large corporations (Comverse, ECI Telecom) and a venture Capital firm (BRM Capital). Ilan holds double BA in Psychology and Education from the Bar-Ilan University, Israel.
Ofri Ziv, VP of Research at Guardicore, is the head of GuardiCore Labs which is responsible for security research, detection and development of data analysis algorithms. Ofri is a veteran of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Intelligence Corps, where he led groups of security researchers and was in charge of the IDF’s elite cyber security training program. Ofri holds MSc in Computer Science from the Tel Aviv University. He is the author of several papers and has over 10 years of cyber security research experience.
VP Corporate Strategy
Ola Sergatchov joined Guardicore leadership team from IBM where she led world-wide portfolio strategy and go-to-market for IBM Security Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. Prior to that she held leadership positions in Oracle, global system integrators and various start-ups, focusing on Business Development, Go-to-Market, Customer Success and Global Projects Delivery. Ola is a security expert with more than 15 years of technical, pre-sales and IT services leadership experience. Ola is known as a customer success oriented professional, with an ability to create win-win solutions and drive complex IT initiatives to their successful completion.
As COO for Guardicore, Ofer runs Sales in EMEA, LATAM & APAC as well as WW operations. Ofer is a recognized leader in the technology space having served in several senior management roles at leading firms over the past 15 years. Before joining Guardicore, Ofer was CEO at Sentrix, a cloud-based Web application security company. Ofer has also held leadership positions in publicly traded enterprises including VP of Worldwide Technical Services and part of the Senior Management Team at Check Point Software and VP and GM positions at Comverse, a leading value-added services & billing supplier. Ofer has a BA in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University and is a graduate of Stanford GSB Executive Program.
Chief Marketing Officer
Chris Gaebler leads our global marketing initiatives, including brand, demand generation, public and analyst relations, web, social media and events. Chris has more than 20 years of high tech marketing experience. Before joining Guardicore, Chris was the CMO of Netscout and Arbor Networks, the Senior Vice President of Marketing for Kaspersky Lab, and the Vice President of Marketing for Sony in North America. Chris has also led teams at several start-ups. In each position, he led marketing teams that generated substantial revenue and brand growth. To Chris, marketing done correctly amplifies the signal to noise ratio from brands to the ideal audiences.
Ram brings over 25 years of experience building tech companies and leading executive teams. As CEO, he led Guardium, Inc. from start-up to a dominance position in the database security market, and its acquisition by IBM. As co-founder and CEO at Telekol, Ram led its growth from start-up to top supplier of enterprise grade intelligent communications systems, and its acquisition by Nokia. He is the Executive Chairman of Segterra, Inc., an innovative digital health analytics company. Additional past and present engagements include executive management, advisory and board roles with technology startups in security, database software, e-commerce and behavioral analytics.
VP of Products
Lior Neudorfer leads the Product group which is responsible for driving product strategy and product management. With an extensive background in technology and cyber-security, Lior has over a decade of experience in leading product management and software development teams. Prior to Guardicore, Lior managed software architecture and software development teams in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Intelligence Corps. Lior holds an MBA from IE University in Madrid and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Boaz co-founded Qumra Capital, Israel’s pioneer Late Stage Venture Capital fund with $250 AuM in 2014. Prior to Qumra, Boaz served as Managing Partner of Evergreen Venture Partners since 2004, and a General Partner since 1996, where he also led its activities together with Erez Shachar, Qumra’s co-founder. At Qumra, Boaz is a Board member in the following companies: JFrog, AppsFlyer, MinuteMedia, Guardicore, IntSights & Signals Analytics Previously he served on the board of some of Evergreen’s most significant exits including Exalink (Acquired by Comverse), P-cube (Acquired by Cisco), Dune Networks (Acquired by Broadcom), Aeroscout (Acquired by Stanley Black & Decker), Metalink (IPO), BigBand (IPO), AVT (IPO) and Envara (Acquired by Intel).
Boaz combines deep-dive analysis and strategic business thinking and prior to Evergreen was Director of Business Development and Marketing of M-Systems (NASDAQ: FLSH) where he built and scaled the sales and marketing infrastructure in Europe and Asia. Before M-Systems, he was a senior consultant at POC, one of Israel’s leading management consulting firms, working with many of Israel’s leading technology companies.
TPG Advisor and Managing Partner of Greenfield Partners, an investment platform backed by TPG Growth
Yuda is a prolific angel investor and visionary in the Israeli technology sector with an innate sense for identifying and cultivating disruptive technologies and innovation. Yuda is Managing Partner at Greenfield Partners, a TPG Growth-backed early growth investment platform which he co-founded in 2015. As an investor, Yuda has taken part in some of the most innovative Israeli and Israel-related technology companies over the last two decades. Among his over 40 investments are Helloextend, Reali, Airobotics, Vgen (acquired by Newport Corporation), PrimeSense (acquired by Apple); Leaba (acquired by Cisco) and Crosswise (acquired by Oracle). These companies benefited from Yuda’s rich operational experience as well as his global network. Currently, together with TPG’s network and resources, Yuda looks to provide guidance and value through each stage of development, including scaling for growth, capital raising, operations, competitive strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to his investing career, Yuda managed the domestic sales channel at Computer Associates and held prominent positions at Cheyenne Software, Cheyenne Communications and Texas Instruments. He is also the founder of Texel, a software and integration company which was sold to Elco International. Yuda is active in a variety of philanthropic causes, chief among them his ongoing support and advocacy for the Ethiopian community in Israel, which dates back to his involvement in the rescue of Ethiopian immigrants to Israel during his army service (and which will be featured in the upcoming film ‘The Red Sea Diving Resort’).
Yuda is a veteran of the Israeli Navy SEALs (Shayetet) and received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Tel Aviv.
