Backend Software Developer
About The Position
Guardicore is a segmentation company disrupting the legacy firewall market. Our software-only approach is decoupled from the physical network, providing a faster alternative to firewalls. Built for the agile enterprise, we offer greater security and visibility in the cloud, data-center, and endpoint. Our customers are some of the world's largest and most advanced enterprises.
We are looking for a top-notch passionate engineer to join our team and change the future landscape of Cyber Security.
We are looking for a smart, highly motivated, out of the box thinker with high attention to details and have a “get things done” approach.
Role and Responsibilities
- Develop our world-class backend platform and contribute to its scalability and reliability using the latest technology.
- You will be responsible for the end-to-end feature lifecycle: starting from design and architecture, through implementing, testing, and releasing the feature.
- Work effectively and collaboratively within the management team, with other development teams, with the Product team, and with the company as a whole
Requirements
- 3+ years of object-oriented software development experience
- A proven experience with Python or Go - Must
- Working with Linux based system - Must
- Experience in large scale, production, server-side development
- B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field or IDF technological unit technology experience
- Experience with DBs - SQL/NoSQL
- A passion for technology and for developing robust, scalable, state of the art software systems
- Fun to work with, team player
- Knowledge in networking – An advantage
- Previous experience working on security-based projects - Advantage
- Experience developing in micro-services architecture - advantage
- Vast experience with containers Nomad/K8S/Docker - advantage
